  Youth At Risk Community Centre About Us Youth At Risk Community Centre is registered as a society in the office of attorney general. It was established in 2007 as a charitable organization to provide formal education to the Children and Youths in Korogocho and its environs, provide feeding to children who come to our Centre and also share the gospel of Jesus Christ with these children who include Muslim children who are part of our Youth Centre. Youth At Risk Community Centre has birthed 3 educational centres namely Kariobangi Youth Centre located in the slums of Korogocho, Bridges of Hope Centre based in Lucky Summer and Perry Jayne Girls Centre located in Kitui. Currently we are providing education from kindergarten through High School. We provide High Sponsorship for children whose parents are not able to pay for the High School education for over 40 children who attend High Schools in various part of Kenya. We also work with community based organization working with Youths within Korogocho and other areas. Youth at Risk Community Centre Provides funding for Kariobangi Baptist Youth Centre located in Korogocho and provides education, feeding and discipleship to the children of Korogocho and its environs. Currently there 300 children who attend school and the Youth Centre, most of these come from the slums of Korogocho and face many challenges including starvation, malnutrition etc. Objectives • To promote and protect the interest and welfare of the children and youths. • Provide formal Education from Kindergarten to high school to orphans, needy, disadvantaged and abused Children and Youths. • Provide sanitary towels to girls in schools where parents cannot provide. • To intervene in the lives of children and youths by showing them the redemptive love of Christ, the best opportunity to share this is by meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. • Arrange for Christian camps where the students will be invited, gospel shared and given an opportunity to receive Jesus Christ. • To provide humanitarian services to communities faced with the challenges of famine, drought and all manner of disasters • To Partner with churches to establish Educational Centres, Health facilities around Kenya.
